Live Coverage is a read of the screenplay open in the Scripy editor. You run it from the right-hand panel. Coverage scores the pages written so far. Where next starts from the scene at your cursor, or from the last scene you wrote, and can take a question of up to 500 characters. The saved draft needs at least 400 characters of story text before a read will run. On a long draft, scenes far from the start, the end, and your cursor are skimmed.
A full read returns scores on 14 dimensions (Premise, Concept, Plot, Structure, Character, Dialogue, Pacing, Theme, Tone, Logic, Visual Storytelling, Originality, Craft / Presentation, and Marketability), a Pass, Consider, or Recommend verdict, a logline, and a headline. It lists problems to fix, each with a severity, a category, a scene, a quote from the page when the line can be found, and a fix. It also lists directions for the next scene, open threads, and what is working. Notes from the previous read whose quoted line is gone can be marked fixed. Where next returns where the story stands at the cursor, four directions, and threads the next pages could use.
The Live Coverage panel can open a full coverage report. That run is a separate AI analysis and uses one analysis. The report is scored out of 10 with a Pass, Consider, or Recommend verdict, a rationale, named strengths, and a closing note. The screen groups it as Overview, Scores, Story, Characters, Craft, Evidence, and Rewrites: a logline, genre and structural archetype, a nine-beat sheet with page numbers, character notes, opening pages, theme, a pacing view, subtext examples, story architecture, a genre checklist, market notes and comparable titles, a rewrite queue, an evidence appendix, and reader’s notes.
Every plan. Free includes 2 full reads a day (10 every 30 days), Indie 5 a day (40), Pro 15 a day (120). It doesn't use your AI analyses.
A full read costs 3 units and Where next costs 1. Free includes 6 units a day and 30 units every 30 days. Indie includes 15 a day and 120 every 30 days. Pro includes 45 a day and 360 every 30 days. The panel shows whichever window is tighter. Re-running an unchanged draft is free, and a read that comes back empty is refunded.
Free includes 2 AI analyses, and they do not reset. An analysis is one full script coverage report or one production breakdown. Indie is $19 a month, or $190 a year, and includes 10 analyses a month. Those reset at the start of each calendar month, and unused analyses do not roll over. Pro is $49 a month, or $489 a year, and does not cap analyses. Writing in the editor is not metered on any plan.
No. It judges the pages that exist. A missing ending is not scored as a flaw by itself. A dimension the pages cannot support yet is marked n/a, and the overall score waits until at least 6 dimensions have scores. The read still needs at least 400 characters of story text, about a page or a scene or two.
No. You run a read when you want one. It's fast feedback on the pages you've written, so you can fix problems before you pay for human coverage or send the script out.
